TENNYSON VI represents a challenge from the moment of its conceptualization for the design team in charge of the project. The guideline with which the design of the building was conceived is based on the imperative need to work the building from the scale of the road and the existing urban profile in the area.

With clearly defined boundaries between two four-story buildings above street level, our project aims to generate a transitional figure in the middle of the street, where the plaza takes the road and leads the building to a decisive encounter with the user. This plaza generates a transition space between public and private space, granting the right of privacy that the housing unit requires, but at the same time it provides it with a powerful and urban concept that dialogues with the context and centers it as a reference element in the route.

The design focuses on generating a heavy element in the form of a stone that floats over the road and is released on the first floor by means of a transparent element that houses the access vestibule and proposes a reading as an indicator or reason for users to enter.
